Laser hair removal is a safe and effective way of removing unwanted hair on a more permanent basis when it is carried out properly. What makes it safe is mostly down to the settings, the training of the person using the laser, and the checks done beforehand.
How the laser works
The purpose of the laser is to target the cells responsible for hair growth in the follicle. When the settings are appropriate and within safe guidelines, the laser does not travel further into the deeper layers of the skin.
Settings matter
